Hela Cell

This demo video displays what this interactive model of 12 different organelles within a Hela cell looks like when rendered at high definition locally on your machine.

Below you can engage with a web-based version of this interactive model. The organelles are slightly lower resolution and it does not include the cell membrane or endoplasmic reticulum. Both the resolution and lack of larger organelles are a by-product of creating a streaming version of the model itself that can we hosted on the web where you have to balance size of the model and performance.

You can zoom in on this model using your mouse or keyboard.

You can rotate the model by clicking and dragging your mouse and you can pan by holding shift and then clicking and dragging your mouse.

You can use the sliders on the right side of the diagram to change the transparency of each organelle.

Finally you can click on any organelle and it will identify which organelle has been clicked and give a estimated distance of the point you clicked from the center of the nucleus.
